American Blues and rock artist, Travis Bowlin, will wrap up 2017 with a series of Australian tour dates.
The 40 Days & 40 Nights Tour runs from November 6 to December 15. It will see him perform at gigs in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as festivals, including the Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival, and the Queenscliff Music Festival.
The Nashville-based musician is well-known as an artist in the roots community, and also specialises in creating handmade, custom Cigar Box Guitars, Basses, Lap Steel’s, Harmonica Microphones, and Cajon’s (Box Drums).
In 2014, Travis released his first studio single, Bad, Bad Man, which received world-wide radio play.
When it came time to compile his third studio single, the following year, he hired world-renowned Blues, Rock, & Roots publicist, Betsie Brown, of Blind Raccoon Publicity. On June 9, 2015, See You Again was released, along with Travis’ first full-length official music video.
The track hit #5 on iTunes ‘new Blues’ and came in at #3 on the Roots Music Radio Report for Blues/Rock. For nearly six months, See You Again charted as a Top 10 Top 20 song on Blues radio as well as getting on the 2016 entry ballot for possible Grammy Nomination in American Root Performance and American Roots Song. His music video was nominated for a Midwest Video Music Award and the RockErie Awards.
Travis is currently travelling and performing in about 20 US states and Australia. He has headlined the Delta Dragon Riverboat Regatta, the Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival, and has shared the bill with Ricky Skaggs, Cyrile Neville, John Mayall, Samantha Fish, and Big Something.
