Break-out Australian country star, MORGAN EVANS, has announced his upcoming world tour, which includes hometown dates as well as one New Zealand show.

The headline events will mark his biggest performances to-date in Australia, with tickets going on sale on Monday (13/05) at 12:00pm local time. The New Zealand gig will be held on October 29 at Auckland’s Tuning Fork.

Other shows on the world tour, which begins September 3, include performances across Europe and the US, where he will team up with special guests at various shows, including Rascal Flatts, Old Dominion, Kane Brown, Toby Keith and Chris Young.

Before the international tour begins, Evans will join Rascal Flatts’ SUMMER PLAYLIST TOUR starting May 23, and will appear at major festivals.

The Aussie star is currently climbing the U.S. Country charts with “Day Drunk” – his follow-up to GOLD-certified #1 hit “Kiss Somebody.” “Day Drunk” spent 25 consecutive weeks at #1 on Country radio in Australia and two weeks at #1 on Pop radio, topping the TMN Hot 100 airplay chart.

It also recently took home the title of Country Work of the Year at the 2019 APRA Music Awards, after being awarded Single of the Year at Australia’s Golden Guitar Awards. Evans recently used the single in “Day Drunk on Tequila,” his latest musical mash-up featuring label-mate Dan + Shay’s smash “Tequila.”

Evans has also released a new rendition of the beautiful, “Things That We Drink To,” (watch below) the title track for his debut US album, out now. Accompanied only by piano and violin, the poignant, scaled-down performance highlights the song’s powerful lyrics, penned as a tribute to his late manager, Rob Potts.

Chronicling his two-year journey since moving to America from Australia, THINGS THAT WE DRINK TO features 11 tracks co-penned by Evans, who also plays instruments heard on every song.
